September was a busy month for the StakeWise DAO, with the SWAT Bureau member candidates answering community’s questions, StakeWise going through the Merge, and the announcement of V3 upgrade. Now it’s the beginning of October and hopefully everyone had time to read through the candidates’ responses. With no further ado, let’s finally kick off the election process for the SWAT Bureau Members!
We have 6 candidates running for the 4 available positions in the StakeWise Bureau:
Now it’s time for the DAO to choose who will be the stewards of the SWAT program!
To help you choose, please examine the original applications and responses to the various community questions made by the candidates (if you haven’t already). These are linked below along with their applications (in the order of making their SWAT bids):

- The most relevant example of experience from the chosen field of expertise: I come from a completely different background - wine business, which actually requires a lot of quality storytelling! I’ve created a wine tasting group using social media, wrote many articles on this topic, some of which were really well received. Done a bit of vlogging, a lot of public presentantions, managed a 4 person sales team and won a sommelier contest (I’m pretty competitive and eager to learn). I’ve been lurking the crypto topic for quite a while and ran a small ETH mining farm.

Have also published a few forum ideas from revised tokenomics to revenue distribution and vote locking ideas.
Note that we have omitted the salary information from the applications cited here as all of the candidates have expressed willingness to be flexible with the compensation.
Voting process
Once you have familiarized yourself with responses, make sure to proceed to the DAO vote. Because every DAO member can make a choice out of 6, this time we will be going with a voting method called Quadratic Voting. It allows every voter to split the amount of votes between the candidates in the proportion they think is best. The number of votes each candidate receives will then be squared to make the differences between their share of the vote more pronounced. Note that reaching a quorum of 3M SWISE is also required for the voting results to be considered valid.
One final rule is that the candidates themselves should abstain from voting. All the votes submitted in this Snapshot will be analyzed for foul play before the results are considered final in order to rule out any foul play.
